I want to get my information in early to reserve a camp site...My rig is huge (80 Feet) and will need a fairly easy to access site...who and how do I get in touch with to do so?

I will be bring quite a bit of equpment as well as being a vendor

Mike,

The person who is handling the vendors, including placing your rig, is Russ Wood. I forwarded your info to him via email immediately following your email to me on Sept. 2. So you can contact him directly, here is his email address: russ@hobby-tronics.com. Here is his phone: 541-281-7102. He knows about you, as I also told him in person.

We have all been very busy for the last week with the September Work Week and Meet which wraps up tomorrow, as well as the Triennial planning stuff. With any luck we will start getting caught up next week.

Thanks...I had copied him on my last email to you but had not heard anything...no troubles I will let it all get sorted out..I will also be there as a vendor so I will wait to hear from him

Thank You

Mike
Mike,
Thanks for having patience. However, if you do not hear back within a week, please rattle my cage again. The early days of getting this all going have been hectic, as nothing is set in stone. The Committee Meeting at TM last Friday was very helpful, allowing us to get some things firmed up.

Now that the fees are set, and there have been no further negative comments from interested parties, I hope to have a Registration Form available for download from the website later today. We are meeting this morning at TM to go over my draft for boo-boos this morning.

Great

No worries...I will watch for it...I want to get my vendor booths booked asap as well...so I get the ones I want as I had last to Triennials

Mike
As usual, I am behind schedule. I have the form done, but need to get someone else on the committee to proof read it. I hope to get that done tomorrow at TM. I had to go to town today to shop, so other than stopping by TM on the way home for a few minutes, I got else nothing done. I did learn that the reason Russ is not answering his email is his Internet service at home is out of order.
I will be bringing an RV as well, and it looks like on the pre-registration form currently on the site there is a place where that can be marked and paid for so I'll take care of it there.

I was wondering what your plan for the sewer truck was. Are you planning on bringing it by only once again, on say Thursday? Twice on Wed and Saturday would be real nice for those of us with smaller tanks, but I don't know how the economics work there.
At this point in time, I can only speculate about the sewage disposal problem. In looking for better service and rates, we are in the process of arranging for a different company to do the sewage and porta potties than was used in the past. I have learned that collected sewage must be hauled approximately 60 miles from TM for disposal. This adds a lot of expense. My speculation is that the number of times disposal could be arranged would depend on having enough people needing the service, and being willing to pay enough to get the disposal company to make the trip.

So there is no confusion, Vendors will be handled through the Vendor Committee (Russ Wood, Chairman), and in some situations may need to arrange a place for a display vehicle, and another place for other vehicles. Vendor situations will be dealt with differently than regular participants.

Regular Triennial participants RVs and camping will be booked based on the information provided on the Registration Form, and as it has always been for TM Meets and Triennials, specific sites within RV and campground areas will be on a first come arrival basis. In other words, those who arrive early will get the best spots. Those who come for the work week or earlier to help get everything set up, will have better choices than those who only come for the Triennial event.
This is to inform you that the vendor forms should be ready next week (9/27 or so). If you have been a vendor in the past the rates will remain the same for the vendors. You get two Triennial Registrations per vendor. Each participant must fill out a participant release form. I will make sure you get your copies of the Vendor forms when available. Thanks to all for your patience while we get our act together.

Russ Wood, Triennial Vendor Committee Chairman.
Tom

After giving this some serious thought I have decieded to book a spot in the camp Ground at Melitas due mostly to the size (near 80 feet) of my rig and having full hook ups.

I will unload my trains and vendor stuff then head over...I think this will be best as there will be 2 of us in it for 8 days then I have no worries about holding tank problems
