Here's some answers to a few of the questions that have been asked recently:

Will there be a sanitary dump station in the park? NO this requires a Commercial RV Park license that we do not have.

Are there dump stations close by? YES, Walts Campground, Waterwheel Campground, and Collier Park Campground.

Will there be a 'honey wagon' truck to service the RV's. YES you can make those arrangelents upon your arrival.

Is there and ice machine and bagged ice available on site? YES at the Main Office at Central Station.

Are fire pits allowed in the RV or camping areas? NO OPEN FIRES ARE ALLOWED IN THE PARK. We will probably be at Fire Dange EXTREME III by the time of the Tri.

There is no smoking in the RV or campground areas, only in three designated smoking areas, behind Central Station, in front of the BackShop, and in the center of the Motor Pool complex.

Triennial Committee
Just to clarify, "open fires" would mean a campfire, a fire in a barbeque pit or the like. A charcoal fire in a hibachi or portable barbeque would be an "open fire."

A propane camp stove, white gas Coleman lantern, etc. would not be an "open fire" and would be OK.

A citronella candle in a glass jar on a table would be OK. Mosquito coils would be OK.

Do I have it right? Just wanting to make the right preparations.

Thanks!
'citronella' I think the jar would work but the open flame 'citronella' torches would not be appropriate. We have evening breezes that might give us some issues. Most of the Forest Service fire guidelines are based on common sense types of issues, so we should do the same. If you are camping in our 6 Acre area that is watered lawn area, so that has different implications to those down in the South Meadow, open field, grass land area. Again common sense. If you are NOT comfortable with what you are doing, then don't. In Oregon if YOU cause a fire YOU are financially responsible, NOT the property owner where you are staying. This winter has been very mild which means we will probably be going to Extreme III fire alert a month or two earlier than normal or during April or May instead July or August.

Thank you for taking the time to ask in advance of your arrival. I appreciate it and possibly by you asking, someone else might see this and now know what the issues are. Russ
