The committee working toward a successful Train Mountain 2012 Triennial has tentatively chosen Silver as the color to be representative of the event. We chose Silver because this is also the Silver (25th) Anniversary of Train Mountain.
This choice will be open for discussion until merchandise is ordered.

Correct me if I am wrong. I thought we chose silver as the theme for the logo itself, but I don't believe any fabric color has yet been chosen for t-shirts, jackets, and other merchandise. The silver theme logo can go on just about any color merchandise, as it is neutral. This is probably something that should be put on the agenda for the next meeting to get clarified.

Part of the issue with picking colors for garments is that not all colors are avilable in all sizes and styles. I.E. youth, versus adult, versus 3x / 4x, versus sweats. As it stands right now the best color (based on above comment) is athletic grey.
New question to the group: we had requests for some full zippered hoody sweats at the last Triennial. Our best price so far is around $50 for each one. Is this to high a price to pay for an event shirt / sweat? The Tee's will be the same as before at around $15 each with pocket tee's slightly higher and the same for 3x or 4x. Let us know what you think about the sweat price please.
We will have a garment order form up in a couple of weeks and you will be able to preorder your garment. The garments will be available for you to pickup at the event through the Company Store. What color did you select? The 2009 rose-plum color was really nice. I would vote for a deep blue or dark teal-green if you are using a silver logo, because the contrast would be great. Silver on gray.... well....
would not show up the logo to best advantage.
